I
am pleased to introduce our school to you and explain the vision for the education of our pupils. It should start a conversation and process which will see your child well supported in coming to Classical Academy. After more than thirty years as an educationalist and a father, I know how important a school is that offers quality learning with high expectations. I am passionate and committed to maintaining the ethos and traditions of Classical Academy, whilst ensuring the school continues to provide quality all round 21st century experiences. Our aim, that all pupils are part of ‘a culture of continuous improvement’ underpins our work and values for those in our care. I want all our children to fulfill their potential and promise.
THE SCHOOL
T
he Master's Vessel Classical Academy was established in September, 2001 as the third tier educational development of the Master's Vessel Ministries. Previous to this, the kindergarten and the primary schools had been established in 1981and 1991 respectively. The Classical Academy is a co-educational boarding school (No day-students allowed). The school attracts students from across the nation and overseas.
The Academy enjoys full approval of the Abia State Ministry of Education. Its courses are fully accredited by the Federal Ministry of Education Inspectorate Services, the Abia State Ministry of Education, and National Examinations Council (NECO) at the Academy's Junior Secondary level. Its courses at the Senior Secondary Level have also been fully approved by State Ministry of Education, and National Examination Council (NECO).
CONSIDERATIONS FOR CHOOSING THE CLASSICAL ACADEMY
